We are pleased to announce that Telford Priory School have partnered with tootoot

Tootoot is an anonymous website that students can log into, and tell us if they are worried about anything at all. It might not just be bullying, it could be a problem at home, or about a friend, anything at all that they're worried about. Students are able to log in and tell us about it in confidence.

Students can also get tootoot on their smartphone or tablet from the app store, and can log into it in exactly the same way as they can on the website.

We're launching tootoot here so that students can all feel safe in school. We don't want anything getting in the way of learning at Telford Priory School, that's the most important thing to us and Tootoot is there to use whenever its needed.

Stranger Danger

There have been reports of unknown males and females loitering around schools at the beginning and end of the day, The Telford Priory School takes this extremely seriously and does deploy staff outside of school at the beginning and end of the day. However we advise our parents and students to take extra precautions to keep their children and themselves safe.

C'est magnifique!

Year 8 Flexible Learning Day – Create your own Eiffel Tower!

On Monday, Year 8 students were tasked with designing and creating an Eiffel Tower made entirely out of newspaper and sellotape. They were even required to add a lift for passengers! Students needed to do research to find out how best to use newspaper to construct a tower of around 1 metre with the strength to be able to stand freely. A real challenge! Well done to all students who completed a structure but we think this is the best...

Non-Uniform Day - Friday 21st

Reminder that it is non uniform day this Friday to raise money for charity in honour of our friend Khaleel. Please give generously if you can.

Alton Towers Trip - 19th July

Exciting times as we gear up to the first whole school celebratory end of year trip to Alton Towers as the Telford Priory School.

If your child is joining our fun day theme park visit, please read the letter which accompanies this notice for up to date information about our arrangements for the day.

Please note all coaches will depart from the main school car park on Wednesday morning at 8.30am and return to the same car park at 5.30pm in the afternoon.

To ensure we uphold our Safeguarding procedures, please ensure your child has returned their consent form to Mrs Mears, without this they may not be able to come along.

A copy of the Alton Towers letter recently sent to parents/carers is available here.

Many thanks for your support.’

'Class of 2017' Prom

The Telford Priory School ‘Class of 2017’ prom was held at The Holiday Inn’, Telford on Friday 7th July.

All of the students looked absolutely amazing and it was fantastic to see them all have such a great time, celebrating their success and looking forward to the next chapter in their lives.
They were all an absolute credit to the school and we received numerous compliments about their conduct, including the following from the professional photographer who attended the event:

“I would just like to say how well behaved, polite and pleasant all of the guests were…they behaved impeccably and were a real credit to the school. It was an absolute pleasure to be there!”

Students had the opportunity to take away a complimentary photograph on the evening and further prints will be available from Steve Elliott Images very soon. We will also share more photographs as soon as we are able to do so and if students have any that they would like to share we would love to see them.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents and staff who supported this fabulous event and we look forward to seeing the students again soon to celebrate further successes with them on results day in August.

Gone to the dogs!

Well done to Churchill House who raised a massive £592.13 for Dogs Trust Shrewsbury. We are so proud of all of our students who have raised a phenomenal amount for local charities this year!
