A bit about me

My name is Sophie Jones and I left the Telford Priory School in July 2018. I received a Grade 4 in English Language at the Telford Priory School which has lead me to a lot of success at Shrewsbury College Of Arts And Technology.

My path so far

I have now just finished 3 years at college, which has earned me 3 different qualifications: Grade B in level 3 Childcare, a Pass in level 2 Professional Cookery (which has also earned me a Distinction in Professional Food and Beverage Servicing), and finally, I have earned a Distinction Star in level 2 Sport and Sports Coaching.

This has now inspired me to strive towards getting a Teaching Assistant job, which I strongly believe my wide range of qualifications will do.

Advice for students at TPS

The amazing, supportive teachers at the Telford Priory School gave me a lot of support whilst I was at the school and helped me aim high to strive towards doing my best in anything I do. I would always advise any students that if you want to achieve your dream or dream job, then doing your best in school is the biggest gateway to that. You should never waste school time and always work your hardest as this is where you will achieve the grades needed for the next steps of your life.
