Temporary position for 12 months
30 hours per week – Term time plus 1 week
Scale 3 - £18,795 - £19,171 pro rata (actual £13,163 - £13,433)
We are seeking an inspirational Lead Teaching Assistant, who is dynamic and passionate, to support with our SEND students. The successful candidate will be committed to our values and ethos, have the ability to lead staff and students and make a wide and varied contribution to overall life at this busy and vibrant school.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to engage SEND students, to access a broad curriculum, developing strong relationships built on trust and clear expectations
- Have the ability to lead other TAs or support staff
- Have experience of working across the whole school and with all age ranges

Community Governor Vacancy
The Telford Priory School is looking to recruit high quality community governors to join our Education Advisory Board.
We are looking for members of the local community governors to join our Education Advisory Board.
We are looking for members of the local community who have the skill to act as a 'critical friend' and ask challenging questions about performance and use their skills and experience to support school in addressing its aims. You will be involved in creating and developing a strategic plan for the schools, setting and agreeing objectives, and monitoring and evaluating the schools' success by focusing on progress and outcomes. Your role will also include collectively allocating and controlling the school budget as well as being influential in the appointment of staff.
If you have skills and knowledge in any of the following areas, then we would like to hear from you:
Finance; HR; Buildings and Planning; PR; Monitoring Assessment and Data Analysis; Business links and Sponsorship; Education.
If you are over 18, able to commit approximately 10-15 hours per term to the role we would be delighted to hear from you. No prior knowledge is needed - ongoing training and support is offered and available to all new and existing governors.
